About
I've been a pitbull lover since they were the most villainized dog out there, with my first pitbull puppy coming home with me in 1994. She was white with brindle spots scattered around her, with my favorite one covering her eye. Her name was Kixx and she lived a long, beautiful life.
Now, when I first got her, my mother said there was no way I was keeping her. As I said, people had stereotyped this breed to be the most aggressive, dangerous breed out there. Well, after a little time, that dog became my mom's best friend. She would take her with her to work, sneak her treats all the time, and completely changed her mind on how amazing this breed actually is.
Years later I got my first "red nose" pitbull, Karma. She was another incredible dog that was by my side her entire life. She was also the first girl I bred that helped me to better understand the process of breeding. She gave us four puppies that all went to family and friends, aside from the boy, Cooper, that I kept.
During their lives my first child was born. He has grown up with pitbulls his entire life and they have snuggled, protected, and been the best friend to him he could ever ask for.
The next dogs we got were "blue nose" pitbulls. They were the second dogs that we bred and "Trixie" gave us 11 amazing puppies. Again, these dogs all went to family and friends, and helped to destigmatize the stereotype unfairly placed on the breed. My friends and family, all with kids and families of their own, raised the dogs and loved them unconditionally, as the dogs loved their humans.
As I move into this new generation of Bully, now with 3 sons, and focus more on high quality, family loving breedings, I'm excited to bring the best dogs on this planet to a family like mine. Our old girl, Tubs, is helping our two puppies, Tank & Roxy, to be the absolute best there is. And we're excited to see the puppies they produce.
